Abstract: 200-500 words
The work consists in a study about the inserction of the new technological communication medias in the theatrical spectacle scenography at the end of the XX century. In order to understand the contemporary multimedia theatre, it was studied the change from the political theatre to the entertainment theatre as well as the integration of the stage directors with the technical and technological inventions. It was also verified the changes occured in the cultural imaginary, influenced by the techniques and technologies, by the cultural industry, leisure and by the consume industry. It was concluded that by the end of the XX century, the theatre sees itself as a show in its spectacle condition connected to the technological sublime esthetic, establishing in its reception the spectacular and the enchantment. In this context, was emphasized the works of Robert Wilson, Fura Dels Baus, Dumb Type and Robert Lepage.
