- The following work aims to present several creative experimental practices and techniques applied on contemporary thinking and developments in Architecture, supported by the analysis and presentation of original data collected for this research. The dissertation traces a background related to the experimental architectures and presents key definitions and principles that inform contemporary architectural culture. The analytical sections introduces to a diverse sample of the practices and researches applied by contemporary architects. These sections identify why architects develop experimental attitudes, evaluate the perception on creativity, establish connections between the routines and outcomes, and map the emergent approaches. The research concludes with a reflexive analysis of keywords which helps understand the multiplicity of several contemporary creative practices. This study has the cooperation of a wide range of international key persons related to Architecture and architectural experimentation.
