- Treating the body in art in interface with the science, many issues can be addressed by establishing close and distances.
One of them may be the body as form/space that contains spaces or the body as a space/baking pan containing shapes and volumes.
Charting axes convergent on this path of double hand with science, we propose to look at this body as observation of a world. It identified countries, continents, both large and small areas, delimitations.
In the development of this study we will link images from the work of Ismael Nery (1900-1934), Ernesto Neto (1964), the book ICONS ANATOMICAE, (1810) belonging to the rare books Collection of the school of fine arts/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the concepts of image and allegory in Didi-Huberman and Walter Benjamin.
