- This study investigates the ways in which interaction occurs between different participants in the process of creation and appreciation of interactive art on the Internet. This is accomplished through a case study of the Sito group website. Information about the group’s interactive art projects was collected from its institutional web pages and from its two discussion forums. The author’s personal experience was reported, thus aknowledging the particular point of view that permeated the study, and providing an example of a participant’s experience. The interaction processes observed were described and analysed using the Grounded Theory. A rich and diversified process of interaction was found to exist between the Sito participants, exhibiting different forms and contents, ranging from the very simple to the more complex.
